We are a newly established apparel manufacturing facility in Central Java, equipped with 20 production lines and designed for scalable, high-efficiency operations. Our focus is on delivering quality garments to global clients while maintaining strong financial discipline and operational transparency.
Role Overview:
The Accounts & Finance Manager will be responsible for setting up and managing the financial systems, processes, and reporting structures of the new factory. This role is critical in ensuring financial compliance, cost control, and strategic financial planning as the factory scales its operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and manage the entire finance and accounting function for the new factory
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP/AR, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and cost structures
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, statutory reporting, and audits
- Implement internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets
- Coordinate with production and procurement teams for cost tracking and analysis
- Support management with financial insights for decision-making and expansion planning
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and government authorities as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or apparel industry setting
- Strong understanding of Indonesian tax laws and financial regulations
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Experience in setting up finance functions for new operations is a plus
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in cost accounting and factory finance operations
- Familiarity with garment manufacturing processes
- Ability to work independently and build systems from the ground up
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
